Saginaw Valley State University’s steady decline in enrollment was threatening the future of the university. At every stage of their recruitment process, SVSU was struggling, save one—students who visited the school overwhelmingly chose to enroll.
So our job, while massive, was also clear: we needed to raise awareness, change perception, increase applications, and drive prospective students to campus. Through robust research, we uncovered that students who committed to SVSU were persevering, enthusiastic and welcoming. They valued teamwork and personal relationships more than their counterparts at other state schools.

The Result
Through anthemic, evocative, and community-centered creative, we retooled SVSU’s admissions funnel. Along the way, we shattered SVSU’s all-time record for applications, increased visits, and boosted favorability ratings among high schoolers at rates that outstripped every other state school.
